If you are not eligible to be vaccinated against COVID-19 due to health reasons, the government could give you a vaccine exemption certificate.

Khairy Jamaluddin says these recipients would include those who are immunocompromised, or have serious allergies.

The National Immunisation Program’s coordinating minister adds that they are finetuning the proposal to give digital certificates on the MySejahtera app for those who’ve been fully vaccinated.

Targeted travel bubble to start tomorrow for domestic tourism

Starting tomorrow, those in areas under the Recovery Movement Control Order will be allowed to travel to other RMCO areas for tourism purposes only.

Defence Minister  Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the targeted travel bubble will be subject to strict SOPs.

He adds that the travel bubble will include Langkawi, which will be placed under a Recovery MCO starting tomorrow.

Only 1,280 new COVID-19 cases today

Malaysia’s number of new COVID-19 cases continue to show a downward trend, after only 1,280 infections were reported today.

Selangor had the highest number of cases with 464 cases, followed by 165 in Johor, and Sarawak 163.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry recorded 9 more fatalities, raising the death toll to 1,186.
