Mar 30, 2021
The best method to tackle the spread of Covid-19 among the community is to ensurenthat the community itself steps up efforts in playing the role of frontliners.
The Prime Minister stressed that until the Covid-19 vaccine could reach the stipulated target, the country will continue to face a tough period in combating the pandemic because the number of cases is still high although there is a decline in new positive cases.
More than 580,000 individuals have received the Covid-19 vaccine.
Almost 2,000 private medical practitioners have registered to be involved in Phases 2 and 3 of the vaccination programme.
The Health Ministry says those who have registered will be given briefings and training on the scope of work in the immunisation programme.
It adds that complete guidelines and manuals will also be given as a reference for handling the administration of vaccines to those in these groups.
Sarting today, Petaling, Klang and Shah Alam districts will be affected by a scheduled water supply disruption for two days due to maintenance works.
