Lockdown SOPs to be reviewed, if cases drop below 4k

Putrajaya will review the need to continue or relax total lockdown SOPs if Covid-19 daily cases drop to below 4,000.
The Senior Minister for Security says the targeted figure is to ensure that the daily infectivity rate nationwide can be reduced.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is hoping that we will be able to achieve this target by this week.
The Health Ministry reported 5,304 Covid-19 cases yesterday, the second lowest daily figure since May 19.
Selangor again accounted for most cases, followed by Sarawak and KL.
64 fatalities were recorded yesterday, bringing the death toll to 3,908.
Malaysia is currently developing two types of Covid-19 vaccines at the Institute of Medical Research.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba says the development of the mRNA and the inactivated type of vaccines, are part of preparations to face the pandemic in the future.
