Govt to advise Yang di-Pertuan Agong to reconvene Parliament

The government has agreed to advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to reconvene Parliament amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The PM's office says it will propose for the Dewan Rakyat to reconvene for five days from July 26th until the 29th, as well as on August 2nd.
It will also propose for Dewan Negara to reconvene for three days from the 3rd until the 5th of August.

Students to study abroad must turn 18 this year for COVID-19 jab
Students set to further their studies abroad will be allowed to take the COVID-19 vaccine, so long as they turn 18 years old this year.
The Immunisation Program's Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says their guardians must also sign a consent form before they receive the jab.
Khairy says so far, over 8,600 vaccine appointments have been sent out to these students.

Day seven of over 6k new COVID-19 cases
Malaysia’s number of new COVID-19 cases past the 6 thousand mark for a seventh day in a row.
The Health Ministry reported 6,387 infections today, with Selangor recording the bulk of the cases.
It also recorded 77 fatalities, raising the death toll to 5,574.
