Health Ministry denies travel announcement video

A viral video showing a purported announcement on interstate and inter-district travel is not true.
The Health Ministry says the fake clip was edited from an older video which was released earlier in April.
The video alleged those who've been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can cross state and district borders.

Over 13k new COVID-19 cases
Malaysia reported a spike in new COVID-19 infections, with 13,034 cases today.
According to the Health Ministry, Selangor alone recorded almost half of the total.
KL had the second most infections, ahead of Johor and Negeri Sembilan.
It also recorded 134 deaths.

Police receive 38 reports of COVID-19 vaccine sale scams
Police have urged everyone to remain vigilant against scams involving the sale of COVID-19 vaccines.
Bukit Aman says there have been reports of scammers impersonating as health officers accusing victims of allegedly selling the jab.
They say so far, 38 reports have been lodged, involving losses of almost RM55,000.
