Yang di-Pertuan Agong not informed on Emergency Ordinance revocation

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has expressed his disappointment regarding a statement on the revocation of all Emergency Ordinances.
According to Istana Negara, the King was not informed over the matter, and the revocation was announced without his consent.
Earlier this week, de facto Law Minister Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan told Parliament that all the Emergency Ordinances were revoked on July 21st.

Projection for 2021 GDP to be announced in August
The official projection for this year's GDP will be announced next month.
Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz told Parliament that the growth is expected to be lower than its initial prediction of a 6 to 7% expansion.
He also said told Parliament the first payment under the EPF's i-Citra withdrawal facility will be distributed next week.

Over 17k new COVID-19 cases detected nationwide
Malaysia’s number of new COVID-19 cases today dipped slightly to 17,170.
According to the Health Ministry, Selangor alone accounted for over 7,000 infections.
KL had the second-most cases, while Kedah and Johor reported more than 1,000 cases each.
