8 new Covid-19 cases in Parliament, total now 85

There are now 85 Covid-19 cases from tests done on those in Parliament.
The Health Ministry says the cases were detected via RT-PCR tests from those who attended the Dewan Rakyat session last week.
Its Director General adds that there is a possibility that 6 of these samples are of the Delta variant.
Malaysia recorded 160 Covid-19 fatalities yesterday, pushing the death toll to 10,179.
We also reported a record breaking 20,889 cases, with the Klang Valley accounting for more than half of the total.
Starting in October, all university students and staff will receive the Covid-19 vaccine in stages.
The Higher Education Ministry says it is to ensure students can return to campus safely amid the pandemic.
