Payment for Phase 1 of the Bantuan Khas Covid-19 starts today!

The allocation of RM3.1 billion will benefit 10 million recipients.

More than two-thirds of the 20,396 Covid-19 cases reported yesterday lack full Covid-19 vaccination.

The Health Ministry says about 30% had completed their vaccination and they were either asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic.

It explains that this shows fully-vaccinated people are less likely to suffer serious infections and are better protected against Covid-19.

The government has decided to backtrack on the previous enrolment policy of students to the Mara Science Junior College boarding school system.

It will restore its earlier policy, which allows students from all types of schools to apply to MRSM.

This is said to be in line with the “Malaysian Family” concept introduced by the PM in his maiden speech.
