PM tables 12th Malaysia Plan

The Prime Minister has tabled the 12th Malaysia Plan in Parliament, which focuses on reviving the economy after being hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says under the plan, Malaysia's GDP is expected to post growth of between 4.5 to 5.5% per year.
He is hopeful that Malaysia will not only become a high-income nation by 2025, but also a high-tech country...
On another note, Datuk Seri Ismail says the government aims to eliminate hardcore poverty by 2025, by focusing on efforts to help nearly 3 million low-income households

Keep healthy to prepare for COVID-19 endemicity
Adopting a healthy lifestyle is the key to ensure Malaysia's socio-economic recovery, as we begin dealing with COVID-19 as endemic.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says its because most coronavirus patients who suffered severe infection and death, are those with comorbidities.
As such, Malaysians have been advised to exercise, undergo regular health checks, and practice a healthier diet.

New COVID-19 cases drop to 10k
Daily COVID-19 infections in the country dropped again, after we logged 10,959 cases today.
The Health Ministry says Sarawak and Johor were the only states that had 4-digit infections.
Labuan had none.
