Empty syringe accident due to human error

A 12-year-old was mistakenly injected with an empty syringe at a COVID-19 vaccination center in KL.
The Health Ministry has apologized for the mistake, saying it was due to human error.
The child was then given the vaccine as per set procedures.
The incident went viral on social media.

Everyone has been reminded to get themselves tested for COVID-19 if they show signs of infection.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin reminded those who test positive must undergo isolation immediately.
This, as Malaysia is just around 4% shy from fully vaccinating 90% of the adult population.
The government earlier announced that interstate travel will be allowed once we reach the set target.

The National Union of the Teaching Profession is confident the government has taken all the necessary action to ensure schools can reopen safely amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
This is after the Education Ministry issued a guideline for school operations, which focuses on keeping the premises clean and sanitized.
As such, it hopes all school administrators and teachers will follow the guidelines, as a precaution against the coronavirus.
