Everyone has been advised to plan their trips accordingly, now that state borders have reopened.

PLUS Malaysia expects a 30% rise in daily traffic flow at the weekend.

Its Operational Excellence Head Mohd Yusuf Abdul Aziz told us, it's because of the upcoming public holiday next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, he reminded travellers to continue abiding by COVID-19 rules.

Universities have been advised to accommodate students who are not vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Higher Education Minister says it's to ensure their learning process is not disrupted.

Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad says that if physical attendance is unavoidable, stricter measures will be enforced.

This includes mandatory testing before arriving on campus...

Unis are also encouraged to conduct periodical screenings on students and staff.

Datuk Seri Noraini adds that so far, over 2,000 students can't take the vaccine due to health reasons.

Unis not required to close if COVID-19 cases detected

Universities are not required to stop operations, if a student tests positive for the COVID-19 on campus.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad says physical classes which involve the student will merely be postponed.

Students are set to gradually return to their campuses starting this Friday.
