King: Brace For Possible 2nd Wave Of Floods

People, particularly those in east coast states, have been advised to prepare for the possibility of another wave of floods.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong also advised affected residents to evacuate, if it is deemed necessary.
In addition to this, the King urged everyone to learn from the previous floods and improve on weaknesses, especially in post-flood management.
This, as weather officials warned of continuous rain for the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor and Sabah until January 2nd.

Cops: Get Your Flood-Affected Vehicles Towed To Safety
People whose vehicles were affected by the floods in Taman Sri Muda, Shah Alam have been advised to get them towed to a safer place.
The Shah Alam district police chief says this is to protect them from possible theft or other acts of mischief.
He says based on his officers' checks, many vehicles were still left by the roadside, after the flood waters there subsided.

COVID Cases Back Above 3k
Malaysia's daily COVID-19 cases have crossed the 3 thousand mark for the first time since Christmas day.
According to the Health Director General, 3,683 new COVID-19 infections were reported today.
It's up by over 780 cases compared to yesterday.
The total number of cases now stands at 2,750,516
