No more mandatory temperature checks

Starting this Friday, it will no longer be mandatory for premises to provide body temperature checks or manual check-in books.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein says such premises can still use them IF they want.
He adds that check-ins using the MySejahtera app are STILL mandatory.

More sign-ups for PICKids
Over 660 thousand children aged 5-11 have already signed up for the PICKids COVID-19 vaccine programme.
The Health Minister says Selangor had the highest number of registrations, at 184 thousand.
Meanwhile, an announcement will soon be made on the expansion of the programme to schools.
It will see schools registering their students for the vaccination, and the injections will be given on the school grounds.

Another spike in COVID cases
New COVID-19 cases have risen for a 5th straight day.
According to the Health Director General, new infections stood at 13,944 today.
It's up by more than 2,900 compared to yesterday.
It's also the first time that cases stood above 13 thousand since September last year.
Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah adds just over half a percent of today's cases were in categories 3, 4 and 5.
The rest were either asymptomatic or had mild symptoms.
