KKM awaiting full reports on death of 13-year-old

The government is awaiting the full forensic and pathology reports on the death of a 13-year-old, who allegedly died after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Health Director General assures that authorities are working closely with the relevant agencies over the matter.
This is after a video went viral, in which the victim’s parents called on authorities for an explanation into their son’s death.

Education Ministry reiterates it does not want secondary schools to be used as polling centres
The Education Ministry has reiterated that it does not want secondary schools to be used as polling centres in the Johor state election next month.
However, its Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin conceded that there are existing laws that enable the Election Commission to use any premises as needed.
As such, he says the ministry is working to ensure that the EC does not use classrooms reserved for the SPM exam, to avoid disrupting the examination process.

43 more COVID-19 death; daily infections drop to 25K
A further 43 COVID-19 deaths were reported yesterday, 13 of which were classified as brought-in-dead cases.
Selangor and Johor recorded the most fatalities at 10 each, followed by Kedah with 7, while Sabah had 5.
There were also more than 17,000 recoveries.
This, as daily infections fell to 25,099, down by some 1,700 cases from the previous day.
