Employers should accept digital HSO and RO
Feb 25, 2022
Employers have been told to accept screenshots of the digital home surveillance order and release order from workers who are ordered to undergo quarantine.
This, instead of requiring staff to get written proof from Covid-19 Assessment Centres, or CACs.
The Health Director General says this is to prevent overcrowding at such centres.
He also stressed that CACs are primarily meant to focus on health evaluation and treatment, and cases that need specific attention.

Sg Buluh Hospital to soon reopen for non-COVID cases
The Health Minister says the Sungai Buloh Hospital may soon reopen for treatment of non-Covid-19 cases.
However, he says this will depend on the trend of COVID-19 cases in the coming weeks.
While there is a rise in hospital admissions, many of the cases do not need to be sent to ICU, and only require “step-down care” and treatment.
