The Anti-Hopping Bill still requires further study, to prevent any issues from arising in the future.

PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan says it’s because the term ‘party hopping’ itself is still unclear, among other issues that need further discussion.

This, ahead of the tabling of the Bill at a special sitting on April 11th.

Starting this Friday, Sarawak says travellers entering the state from overseas by air must show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination.

They must also undergo testing two days before departure, as well as after arriving, and fill in the pre-departure form on MySejahtera.

The state adds that travellers originating from Singapore must also prepare similar pre-departure documents, but will be exempted from taking a test upon arrival.

Meanwhile, those transiting through Singapore must undergo testing after arriving.
