The government plans to table the Anti-Hopping Bill during the Parliamentary sitting in July.
The PM also denied that the government has any intention of delaying tabling the Bill.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob explained several matters must first be resolved, including the proposed constitution amendment, which will be tabled today.
He says as soon as the amendment is approved with a two-thirds majority, a special committee will be formed to draft the bill.
The committee will comprise representatives from the government, opposition, as well as academic experts.
