40% Long COVID patients return to work within 3 months of infection

More than 4 million people have recovered from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
However, the Health Minister says it may be the beginning of a long struggle for some to fully recover.
Khairy Jamaluddin says up to 40% of patients with long term COVID effects, or Long COVID, return to work within 3 months of having the infection, while up to 70% return to work within 6 months.
He adds that as of last month, over 9,000 Long COVID patients were treated at Health Ministry facilities nationwide.

MAVCOM promises to investigate complaints of fight schedules changes
The Malaysian Aviation Commission has pledged to investigate complaints regarding airlines making changes to flight schedules without adequate notice to consumers.
MAVCOM also urged consumers who faced improper delays and flight issues to lodge a formal complaint to facilitate the probe.
This comes after the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry urged authorities to look into complaints of flights frequently delayed and rescheduled during the Aidilfitri holiday period.
