Malaysia donates COVID vaccines to Laos

Malaysia has donated half a million doses of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine to Laos, to boost its vaccination program.
The Health Ministry says this is the second donation to Laos, after we donated over 200,000 doses of the AstraZeneca jab back in December.
It adds that authorities will continue to identify and assist countries with low vaccination rates, to tackle the spread of the coronavirus.

Youths advised to be prepared with necessary skills
The government has advised youths to equip themselves with the necessary skills to prepare for the competitive job market.
The Higher Education Ministry says employers seek candidates with knowledge such as digital literacy and soft skills, that are relevant to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
It stressed that academic performance is not the only factor that determines employability, adding that youths must be agile to succeed in today’s fast paced world.

Woman arrested for allegedly injuring teen with car keys
Police have arrested a woman after she allegedly injured a teenager at a beach in Kedah.
Cops say the suspect attacked the 18-year-old girl with car keys, and believe the attack was due to dissatisfaction over the victim’s family business.
This comes after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
