MEF: Indonesia worker ban will prolong labour shortage

The MEF is concerned that the temporary ban will prolong the chronic labour shortages being faced by all economic sectors.
As such, it proposed that special approval be given to utilise available labour in the country, such as refugees and paroled prisoners, as a short-term measure.
