Air Force Rehearsals For National Day

The Air Force will be carrying out flight training from today until Wednesday, as part of preparations for the National Day celebration.

These tactical flights will be performed over parts of Putrajaya and Selangor.

The Air Force reassures that there is no need to be concerned at the sight of these low-flying military aircraft.

In a related development, the Communications and Digital Ministry is encouraging all those attending the National Day celebration in Putrajaya to wear batik, to help liven up the event.

Police are investigating a social media post, which falsely claimed that the Kedah Menteri Besar was greeted by a huge crowd during his visit to Johor.

The Johor police chief clarified that viral clips being shared online are actually of another previous event at Dataran Merdeka, KL.

The open payment toll collection system is now being tested out along the BESRAYA and NPE…where selected lane will accept debut and credit cards as an alternative payment method.

And, nearly 500 people have now been evacuated from their homes due to flooding in Maran, Pahang…following heavy rain since Friday night.
