New Cabinet Members Sworn In

The 10 newly appointed cabinet ministers and deputy ministers have been sworn in before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

This, after PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim confirmed his much-anticipated Cabinet reshuffle earlier today.  

Among the new ministers is EPF CEO Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, who will serve as the Second Finance Minister.  

He was also sworn in as a senator this morning.  

Steven Sim was also sworn in following his promotion to HR Minister.  

The other new Cabinet members are Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, Plantations and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, and Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo. 

Also, Datuk Seri Anwar confirmed that the 20% pay cut for ministers' salaries will remain. 

The pay cut was announced in in December last year.
