3rd Booster For COVID19 Vaccine NOT Mandatory

Malaysia will not re-introduce pandemic restrictions, such as the MCO, despite the rise in COVID cases.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkifly Ahmad says instead, his ministry will implement five strategies to better curb the virus... 

He adds that the latest updates on the COVID situation here will be updated through the official KKM website.

Meanwhile, Communicaitons Minister Fahmi Fadzil clarified that it is not mandatory to get the 3rd booster shot for the COVID19 vaccine. 

He says the Health Ministry is only encouraging people, especially those in vulnerable and high-risk groups, to do so. 

This, following claims on social media stating otherwise.

There is no ban on displaying products that contain non-Islamic festive greetings. 

Jakim clarified that a directive from 2020 is no longer in effect, and that Halal business premises are allowed to place festive greetings on their products, such as cake orders.
