Jan 10, 2024
The EPF says over RM700m has been credited into retirement savings of some 1.4 million contributors who are nearing retirement age.
It's under a one-off scheme that was announced under the unity government's revised Budget 2023, which was tabled back in February last year.
It sees RM500 being credited into the EPF accounts of contributors between the ages of 40 and 55 who had savings of RM10,000 or less in their Account 1.
