Pay Closer Attention To Weather Warnings

Members of the public are urged to be more aware of the weather forecasts issued by the Met Department.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail says this is to ensure that Malaysians are always prepared to face the possibility of flooding.
This, as Met Malaysia issued an alert for continuous rain for Kota Tinggi, Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai and JB in Johor…from tomorrow until Sunday.
Meanwhile, some 4,900 evacuees still remain at relief centers across Johor…while Pahang has around 780 victims.

Slightly more than half of Malaysians used cashless payment methods in the last quarter of 2023.
This compares to the height of the Covid pandemic – when e-wallets and debit cards were the most popular methods of payment.
According to a new survey by IPSOS, online banking and debit cards are the most commonly-used cashless methods, followed by e-wallets.
