Motorists will enjoy toll-free rides tomorrow and Friday, in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
This is after the Works Minister announced toll exemptions for personal vehicles, starting tonight at 12.01AM until 11.59pm the following day.
The exemptions will be implemented at all highways EXCEPT for toll plazas at the country’s borders.
The minister also advised road users to plan their journeys ahead of time and to follow the highway authorities’ travel time advisory.

Malaysians studying overseas under Public Service Department, or JPA scholarships can now apply to delay their return home, if they want to seek employment abroad.
The Department says the government has agreed to the move, as it will give JPA students valuable work experience, before they come back to serve in Malaysia.
It adds that applications are NOT approved automatically, and graduates can only remain overseas for up to three years.
Loan-sponsored students will also have to start repaying their loans during this period.
