MoT: No More Lesen Terbang
Mar 05, 2024
The Transport Ministry expects its new e-testing system to put an end to the problem of lesen terbang, and other forms of corruption during driving tests.
Its minister Anthony Loke says it's because the new pilot system eliminates the need to have JPJ officers inside the vehicle while a candidate is being tested...
Under the e-testing system, driving test candidates are assessed based on electronic sensors and cameras.
Data from the driving test will be assessed by a computer system, which determines if the candidate passes or fails.
