The government is looking at ways to work with social media companies and get them to issue an alert when users are accessing AI-generated content.

This is to ensure the netizens are aware that the content they’re consuming is generated by artificial intelligence.

It comes after Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching highlighted the spread of an AI-generated clip, purporting to show the Prime Minister discussing an investment scheme.

Residents of Putrajaya have a higher rate of obesity and hypertension…as well as a lack of physical activity…compared to the national average.

The Federal Territories Ministry – citing data from the Health Ministry -  also says the level of depression and anxiety was highest among residents of KL and Putrajaya.

The Human Resources Ministry has set a target to increase female participation in the workforce to 60 percent…in line with the government’s Madani Economic Framework.

The current rate of women’s workforce participation stands at just over 56 percent.

The Higher Education Ministry says respective states have the right to offer free tertiary education for the benefit of their residents…depending on the state government’s financial capabilities.

This was in response to Sarawak’s plan, to offer free education at universities and institutions owned by the state government, for Sarawak natives.
