Docs Urged To Use Official Channels To Report Bullying

Mar 21, 2024

docs urged to use official channels to report bullying

Doctors are being urged to use official channels to report bullying at the workplace, instead of seeking justice on social media.

The Malaysian Medical Association says there are various avenues provided by the Health Ministry, the MMA and even police for victims to lodge reports.

Nevertheless, the MMA also wants the authorities to investigate why such complaints are posted on social media in the first place.

This includes the possibility that victims are losing trust in the system, due to slow response or minimal action.
