Duit Raya For Civil Servants

Apr 01, 2024

duit raya for civil servants

The PM has announced special financial assistance of RM500, in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Meanwhile, government pensioners will receive RM250.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the money will be paid out starting Friday.

Earlier, the Pahang government announced a RM1,000 special Raya payment for its state civil servants.

There's still a way to go before police can close the case of the 500 thousand ringgit that was found inside a suitcase.

Selangor police say an individual claiming to own the money has come forward to have his statement recorded, after missing several appointments.

According to the Star, cops need to record further statements from the man, including on how he accumulated the cash.

Earlier reports said the money was found at the parking lot of a shopping mall in Damansara.

The individual claims that the money was the repayment for a loan he had given to a friend.

The Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry has played down concerns that foreign investments will be impacted by the planned move to targeted subsidies.

Its minister says companies look at other criteria when choosing a country to invest in, such as consistent policies and the cost to do business there.

--

The Education Ministry has drawn up several short-term measures to deal the issue of school overcrowding, pending the construction of over 20 new schools nationwide.

This includes the use of cabins as classrooms in high-density schools.
