Ministers To Go To The Ground

Apr 04, 2024

ministers to go to the ground

Cabinet ministers have been told to go to the ground more frequently, to assess for themselves issues related to the price and supply of essential goods.

Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil says PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim issued the instruction ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Previously, Datuk Seri Anwar urged authorities to look into public complaints about higher food costs despite a drop in rice and poultry prices.

Meanwhile according to MetMalaysia's early forecast, heavy rain or thunderstorms are expected the morning of Aidilfitri along the East Coast, as well as eastern Sabah and southern Sarawak.

Meanwhile similar conditions are expected in the afternoon and evening, in most parts of Sarawak and the interior of the Peninsular.

Malaysians visiting or working in Singapore must always be mindful of any changes to the republic's laws.

Our High Commissioner to Singapore said for example, many people have gotten into trouble for carrying vapes, which is strictly banned in Singapore.

And a couple in France have been banned for life from owning pets, for keeping dozens of animals in cruel and filthy conditions in their small apartment.

According to reports, many of the 160 cats and 7 dogs were living in dirty conditions, and many were dehydrated or malnourished, while others had parasites.

It's believed that one of the people suffers from Noah's Syndrome, which gives her a compulsive need to save animals.
