27 Influencers Arrested

Police have arrested 27 social media influencers for allegedly conspiring with a gambling syndicate to promote online gambling activities.
Bukit Aman says their investigation revealed that the syndicate paid the influencers based on the number of followers they had.
Each influencer received between RM1,500 and RM8,000 each, depending on their followers count.
Cops add that they're still trying to identify the main mastermind behind the syndicates.

It adds that the issue is now in the hands of the court and urged the public to respect the process by allowing them to conduct their duties without interference.
Earlier, Bukit Aman announced that they'll ask the MCMC to remove the content, which was first detected on Telegram yesterday.
