'Premium' Salaries For TVET Grads

The National TVET Council has reached an agreement with some private companies, to have them offer technical and vocational graduates a premium salary of between 2,500 and 4,000 ringgit.
This is above the national minimum wage of 1,500 ringgit.
The Deputy Prime Minister adds that this is to attract more TVET graduates to work in related sectors.

In a related development, the government will establish a national Cyber Security Academy to help meet demand, amid a shortage of 26 thousand workers in the Cybersecurity field.
