Medical experts are hoping for an increase in the number of public health facilities and staff under Budget 2025.

Public health expert, Datuk Dr Zainal Ariffin Omar says this will help address public complaints about long waiting times at government clinics and hospitals.

So far, the Health Ministry has been trying to deal with the issue by extending the opening hours of its health clinics, to reduce congestion at hospital emergency wards.

PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will present Budget 2025 in Parliament tomorrow.
