This is in addition to the deployment of the SMART Team…who’ve already arrived in the quake-hit country to assist with the search and rescue operation.

This, as the earthquake death toll in Myanmar exceeded 1,700…while hundreds others remain missing.

Meanwhile, in Bangkok, the death toll from the building under construction that collapsed following the tremor has risen to 18.

It adds that self-declared bankruptcy cases have surged by 200 percent between 2022 and last year.

In other news…KL police say they’ve opened three investigation papers into a recent scuffle between DBKL officers and a balloon vendor along Jalan TAR.
