AI Regulatory Framework Ready Soon

A regulatory framework for Artificial Intelligence could be introduced soon.

The Digital Ministry says a full report on the matter is currently being finalized amid discussions with industry stakeholders.

It adds that the report should be completed by the end of the month, and will focus on AI regulation, whether through legislation or adoption of common standards.

So far, Terengganu, Perlis and Kedah have agreed to ban vape sales, while several other states are currently discussing bans of their own.

The government will set up a special task force to address serious financial irregularities, in order to strengthen the credibility of the country's fiscal management. 

The PM says the task force will also help ensure that issues related to the recent audit findings on financial irregularities can be resolved in a more effective manner.
