No RON95 Price Hike

The government will not raise the price of RON95 petrol, despite the increase in global oil prices amid the ongoing conflict.

The Prime Minister explained that the decision was made to protect the people and country's economy.

On a separate matter, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the government will provide a more detailed explanation regarding the expanded Sales and Service Tax soon.

He also once again assured that the new SST will not burden the lower and middle income groups.

Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal, over three money laundering charges involving 27 million ringgit linked to SRC International.  

The ruling by the High Court judge was issued after the prosecution failed to furnish the defense with hundreds of documents related to the trial…despite the charges being filed back in 2019.
