CCTVs For 200 KPM Boarding Schools

The Education Ministry will install CCTVs at 200 boarding schools nationwide. 

It says the Rm3 million project will be rolled out in stages, and priority will be given to schools with larger hostels and student populations.  

The ministry also vowed to appoint more hostel wardens, but for now there are no plans to hire retired soldiers or police personnel for such jobs.  

It's part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to improve student safety and prevent cases of bullying.

Around two thirds of criminal investigations involving politicians ended in NFA’s  

According to the Law and Institutional Reform Minister, they represent 41 of the 60 investigation papers opened against political figures since 2020.  

But because there is no statute of limitations for criminal cases, authorities can reopen these cases at any time, if there are new developments.
