Fahmi: Use MyDigital ID To Get New Prepaid SIM Card

MyDigital ID will soon be needed if you want to register for a new PREPAID SIM card.  

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil says its part of efforts to improve security, and plug a loophole that allows multiple SIM cards to be registered under a single name. 

The rule will come into effect by year end, and MCMC will provide further details in due course.

The proposed nationwide ban on vapes and e-cigarettes will be implemented in stages. 

According to the Health Ministry, it will first target refillable vape devices before being expanded into a blanket ban.

The govt’s series of roadshows for the proposed anti-bullying tribunal will kick off tomorrow in Putrajaya, with further events scheduled for Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor later this month.    

The roadshows aim to get public feedback on the special tribunal, which will handle cases of school bullying.

Police have rubbished a viral whatsapp message claiming that a woman attempted to kidnap a primary school student in Ayer Keroh. Melaka.  

Cops say the incident was actually a misunderstanding.

It says a viral poster being shared on social media is fake.
