PM Condemns Kg Sungai Baru Scuffle

The PM has condemned the scuffle that broke out in Kampung Sungai Baru, KL today, that reportedly left the Dang Wangi district police chief with minor injuries.
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim blamed it on “irresponsible quarters with vested interests”.
This, as the Home Minister told authorities to investigate possible elements of political opportunism.
He also reminded people not to abuse their freedom of assembly to commit unlawful acts.
According to the IGP three people have been detained over the scuffle, that broke out as cops were carrying out a court-mandated eviction.

The JPJ says it will soon start enforcing the law that requires everyone inside private vehicles to put on their seat belts.
It did not give an exact timeframe, as for now it's focusing on a newly launched seatbelt advocacy programme.

The Communications Ministry has again stressed that you don't need to register to use the one-off RM100 SARA aid, as it is given automatically to eligible recipients.
It's deputy minister said this, in response to social media posts that continue to falsely claim that recipients need to sign up to use the money.
