BUDI95: Make Sure MyKad And License Details Match

Those who want to buy subsidized petrol under the Budi95 initiative need to ensure that the details on the MyKad and driver’s license are updated and matched.
The Finance Ministry says there are cases where licenses either have old IC numbers or incorrect details…which could prevent users from accessing the Budi95 system.
Its urging all motorists to immediately verify that their licenses are up to date with the correct details, to avoid any disruptions.
The Budi95 scheme rolls out for all eligible Malaysians today.
They will have access to RON95 petrol at a retail price of RM1.99 per liter…while those who don’t qualify will have to pay a non-subsidized price of RM2.60.
