Government Won't Appeal Sabah Revenue Ruling

The Federal government has decided not to appeal a High Court decision granting Sabah entitlement to 40 percent of revenue collected from the state.
The Attorney General’s Chambers issued a statement, saying the government respects the constitutional basis of the provision, and will begin negotiations with the Sabah government urgently.
Meanwhile, Sabah chief minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor expressed gratitude over the decision, which he says reflects Putrajaya’s understanding of the state’s expectations and aspirations.

The KL mayor has dismissed fears of another sinkhole in Masjid India.
She clarified that the hole in the ground that appeared there on Monday was not a sinkhole, but an issue caused by ground settlement.
She adds that checks have found no burst pipes or underground leaks…adding that experts have also examined the area to ensure there was no loose soil.

And, India’s federal investigative agency is now probing the deadly car explosion in Delhi under anti-terrorism laws…although authorities have yet to reveal any further details about the incident.
