Bung Moktar Has Passed Away

Sabah has lost a veteran politician.
Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin passed away this morning at the age of 66.
The Sabah BN chairman was hospitalized last night before succumbing to a lung infection and kidney failure.
His death comes less than a week after he retained his Lamag state seat in the Sabah state election.
The Prime Minster, Deputy Prime Ministers, Cabinet ministers as well as state leaders were among those who offered their condolences over Datuk Seri Bung Moktar’s passing.

The government will spend over 400 million ringgit a year to cover on-call allowances for medical and dental officers under the public healthcare system.
The Health Ministry adds that this figure is a 120-million-ringgit increase.

The Works Ministry estimates that nearly 328 million ringgit is needed to repair public infrastructure damaged by the North-east Monsoon.
A bulk of that figure will be channelled towards road repairs.

A 12-year-old boy has died after he and brother fell into a large drain in Kajang while trying to retrieve a ball.
The other sibling remains missing, with authorities currently trying to locate him.
