KPM: Don't Touch Parents' BPA!

Schools are not allowed to make any deductions from the govt's RM150 early schooling aid that is meant for parents.
The Education Minister made this reminder, after receiving complaints that some schools were taking a portion of the money to cover costs like PTA fees.
She warned that every sen must be given to their rightful recipients.
Those who received less should contact the ministry immediately.

60,000 higher education students are eligible for this year's FLYSiswa programme, which offers flight ticket subsidies for travel between the Peninsular, Sabah Sarawak and Labuan.
According to the Transport Ministry, this is after the programme was expanded to cover institutions including the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage, government-linked universities, and State-Owned Higher Education Institutions.
