The fight against COVID-19 is not over yet

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has reminded the nation to remain vigilant in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Tan Sri Muhyiddin is also worried about the emergence of 13 new coronavirus clusters recently, and the fact that new cases reached double digits in the past few days.
Because of this, he urged everyone to fully comply with all current SOPs, such as maintaining social distancing and wearing face masks.
He adds that the govt is considering making it mandatory to wear masks in public.
He adds that IF we go into another lockdown, it could cost the country RM 2 Billion a day.
Malaysia reports 15 local COVID-19 transmissions, 13 linked to Johor old folks home
21 more COVID-19 cases were reported today, raising the country's total to 8,800.
15 are local transmissions, including 13 at an old folks home in Kluang, Johor.
Meanwhile the number of active cases now stands at 122.
The death toll remains unchanged at 123.
Unemployment rate now at 5.3%
Malaysia's unemployment rate increased to 5.3% in May, from 5% in the previous month.
The Human Resources Minister says among the job sectors that were the most hard hit were, the tourism, manufacturing and services sectors, as well as those running their own businesses.
Meanwhile the minister says the country's labour market is expected to steadily recover, thanks to the reopening of sectors during the Recovery Movement Control Order.
