Malaysia detects two new COVID-19 clusters

16 new COVID-19 cases were reported today, raising our tally to 8,831.
Meanwhile two new COVID-19 clusters were detected today.
The Health Ministry says the first cluster is linked to a ship in Port Klang, while the second one involves two people on a plane from Melbourne to Kuching.
This brings the total number of active infections to 142.
Meanwhile the death toll remains unchanged at 123.
Government to gazette order to make wearing face masks compulsory in public
Wearing face masks in public could be made compulsory soon!
The Deputy Health Minister says the government is currently in the process of having the order gazetted.
More details will be announced once they're finalised.
Local Youtuber's husband remanded for alleged attack
The husband of a famous local Youtuber has been remanded for three days, after he allegedly attacked his wife with a weapon in Perak.
Police say the incident was due to family issues.
Investigations are still ongoing.
