Datuk Seri Najib Razak sentenced 12 years jail, and fined RM210 million

The KL High Court has sentenced Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak 12 years in jail and fined RM210 million.
This is after he was found guilty for all seven counts of money laundering, abuse of power, and breach of trust, involving RM42 million in SRC International funds.
If he fails to pay the fine, he will be sentenced an additional 5 years jail time.
Active COVID-19 cases exceeds 200
The number of active COVID-19 infections has now exceeded 200, after 39 new cases were reported today.
28 are local transmissions.
Meanwhile the Health Ministry has detected two new clusters, one in Kedah, while the other was found in Sarawak.
The death toll still stands at 124.
Government to subsidise half of Malaysians' quarantine cost
Malaysians undergoing their mandatory quarantine at designated centres will have half of their bill subsidised by the government.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sarbi Yaakob says this includes transport costs, as well as food, and personal protective gear.
Meanwhile foreigners will have to pay the full amount.
