Police will soon release do's and don'ts on mandatory face mask ruling

Police will soon release details of SOPs for the mandatory use of face mask with clear descriptions on the do's and don'ts.
They are in the midst of finalising more detailed guidelines, which would help clarify the current confusion over the ruling.
Police say there are still uncertainty among the public concerning this issue, such as when is it permissible not to use a face mask.
However, you are now required to use a face mask at crowded public spaces and areas where physical distancing is impossible and if you fail to do so, you will be issued a fine.
Malaysia has no plans to make it mandatory for customers at night spots to undergo a breathalyser test at the outlets before being allowed to leave.
The Transport Ministry says such practices seen in countries such as Australia to curb drunk-driving is not compulsory here, but it would instead encourage drinkers to use e-hailing services.
The Ministry intends to follow Japan, which stresses on the importance of drinking responsibly.
