Two new Covid-19 clusters in Selangor & Penang

The Health Ministry has reported two new Covid-19 clusters – one in Selangor and Penang.
The Usaha cluster was discovered in the Klang and Petaling districts of Selangor and has infected 17 people.
The Tembaga cluster, meanwhile, detected in the northeast and southwest of Penang island, has led to 69 people being screened and 7 tested positive.
This comes as we again saw our daily number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19 exceeding new recorded cases, with 972 recoveries against 957 new cases.
The parents of the Malaysian student, who was found murdered in Taiwan last week, have flown to Taipei to make arrangements for her funeral.
The 24-year-old victim was reportedly abducted near her university on Wednesday. One suspect is in custody on charges of voluntary manslaughter and sexual assault.

The government will discuss how to assist working parents who have no place to send their kids as childcare centres are closed during the conditional MCO.
The Senior Minister for Security stressed that childcare centres are closed due to children falling under the category of those being in high risk of being infected with Covid-19, but assured that it will find a solution for parents
He was responding to some parents asking for such services to be open during the CMCO period.
