River Polluters Face Life Behind bars

2 men blamed for the latest polution incident along Sungai Selangor are facing life in prison.
This is after the duo, a company director and a road contractor, were charged at the Selayang sessions court with sabotaging the nation's water resources
Both were denied bail, as the offence falls under SOSMA.

COVID-19 Hit New High
The number of new COVID-19 cases has hit another high, with 1,884 cases reported today.
Selangor had the highest number of cases, at over 1,200, mostly linked to the Teratai Cluster.
Meanwhile Sabah had 289 and KL had 196 cases.
New infections were also reported in Kedah and Negeri Sembilan.
2 more deaths were reported, raising the overall death toll to 337.

Businesses In CMCO Can Stay Open Until Midnight
Business premises in Conditional MCO areas will be allowed to operate until midnight.
Senior Minister for Security, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says they include eateries, convenience stores and petrol stations.
The change will come into effect immediately.
Also, Datuk Seri Ismail says Seremban prison and its quarters will be placed under a Targeted Enhanced MCO from tomorrow until December 7th, amid a rise in COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, TEMCOs in several other areas will be lifted tomorrow, including Taman Mesra in Sandakan and Plaza Hentian Kajang.
The TEMCO around Medan 88 in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi will be lifted on Wednesday.
